Necessity is the mother of invention... another freebie!

Is it just me, or is there really a lack of high school themed kits in the scrapbooking world these days?  Does everyone stop scrapping before their kids reach high school?  I went to do a page on my daughter playing powder puff football and couldn't find ANY kits with that theme!  But as someone once said, "Necessity is the mother of invention" - So I made my own, and of course I'm going to share it with you! :)

Here's my page I did:

And here's a preview of the freebie kit I'm giving you today!

All I ask is that you PLEASE leave a comment if you download it!  I love hearing that other people enjoy my little kits!  To download, just click HERE

Enjoy! :)  And if you see any good high school themed kits on the web, please let me know!!!  I have several more years of this torture!

Marching Band Page & Freebie Word Art & Tags!

I did a marching band page and love how it turned out!  I had to make the word art & tags myself because there is such a lack of band kits!  I made a marching band kit last year that is still free on this blog (see this post!), but I wanted to do something different.  I made 2 tags and 3 word art (I also included a copy in white if that works better for you).  Scroll down to download the freebie!
Here's my page (the template is from Simply Yin):

and here's the preview of the free word art/tags:

You can download the freebie here.  All I ask is that you take a minute to leave a comment if you download.  Thanks! :)

Full Kit Freebie for you!

My New Year's resolution is to start spending more time on the things I really enjoy and first on my list is designing my own scrapbooking kits.  I've been a paper scrapper for more than 10 years and started digital scrapping about a year and a half ago.  A few months ago I started working on designing my own kits and I am finally ready to share my first kit with you!  I have gained so much through the digi-scrap community that this is my chance to give back.  I would love to hear your comments about my kit and see what you do with it.  This cold winter weather has me longing for spring, so I decided to do something fresh and springy - I hope you like it!  Here's a preview of the full kit (not all elements shown!)

Here's a page I did with the kit.

and today you are going to get the papers!

Come back tomorrow for the elements and the alpha later this week!  Please leave a comment if you download and I would love to see how you use it!  Link a photo of your layout in the comment section.  Thank you!

Heather & Olivia

Heather & Olivia have been friends since Kindergarten.  One day I took these cute pictures of them, so of course I had to scrap them!  I played around today with making my own painted alphabet and I love how it turned out!  If you like it too, you can download the freebie here!  I lightened it a little on my page, so I'm including a preview of how it looks full color.  Please leave me a comment if you download it!  Thanks!
